When it comes to building your dream home, learning as much as you can about the process of building log homes will ensure you have the best experience possible while also improving the quality of life throughout the years following the completion of your home.THE TIMBER RIDGE DIFFERENCE
OUR BUSINESS IS LOG AND TIMBER HOMES.
Timber Ridge Log Homes started business in 2004. We are the dealer, builder and supplier. Through our unique approach, you work directly with one person during the design phase and throughout the whole construction process. We hand mill our own logs locally and have our experienced crew work directly on site. By eliminating the middle man, not only do you reduce the amount of stress and headaches, but also increase your value and decrease the total cost with Timber Ridge’s log home packages.
THE BEST MATERIAL GOES INTO OUR HOMES.
Timber Ridge uses only cedar products for the exterior of our homes. Cedar is a far superior wood for insect and rot resistance, higher insulating value and low moisture content. Our connection with different cedar outlets allow us to purchase cedar at much lower cost.
OUR GUYS HAVE THE SKILLS.
From the very beginning our draft team, our local mill operation to our personal craftsmen we’re all experienced in specifically log homes. We’re not a traditional home builder building several log homes. Our company from the ground up is designed for log and timber home construction.
WE LIVE THE “GREEN”LIFESTYLE.
We just don’t use the phrase green because it’s popular, we were raised like that before it was a thing. My grandfather grew up in the great depression and raised his sons to waste not. That has led to our committed business practices. We harvest local cedar that otherwise been labeled a nuisance by the forestry department. We also have strict recycling system from reducing landfill waste in our shop and job sites to re-utilizing waste lumber into mulch or winter heat. Our homes also have stringent efficiency standards we have set ourselves to.
EVERY HOME WE BUILD IS CUSTOM.
We don’t have a stock set of plans to choose from. Every customer comes to use with basic plans or ideas and our skilled draftsman works with us directly to build your home exactly how you want it.
WE INVITE YOU TO CHECK OUT THE HOMES WE’RE BUILDING
Timber Ridge continually has open houses at every home we’re building and finished. We do multiple home shows through-out the year and also have a show room open through-out the week for you to visit any other times.
COMPARE OTHER LOG HOME BUILDERS
It is crucial to make sure you’re comparing apple to apples with other builders. At Timber Ridge Log Homes, we are the leaders in log and timer construction in the mid-west. No other company is as much invested and dedicated at Timber Ridge, from our own mill and 6000+sf shop to our specially experienced carpenters in everything from the construction to the maintenance of your home.
